Q: Hi. I am relocating from the US to Coimbatore. I was told that Thudiyalur area is very dirty these days. Anybody know more?

Latest Answer: I wouldn't call it dirty per say. But the water retention is horrible. There is lot of negligence by the authorities. There are leaking drains near the Mettupalayam Road whic will get nasty with one good shower

Latest Answer: If you avoid peak traffic hours you should be fine. I've also heard that the corporation plans to improve transport infrastructure in the area, so don't rule Thudiyalur out just like that!

Latest Answer: The main reason for the water scarcity is the delay by Tamil Nadu water supply board in implementing the water supply augmentation scheme. Once this is done, then there won't be much problems.
