If your child has to give a Republic Day speech for an audience and you are searching for some points to prepare a speech for your little one, then here are some useful tips which can be considered.

1. Research on the topic

You can get information about Republic Day celebration from the Internet and collect some important points which your child can easily remember and present the speech. You can add points on Indian History, freedom struggles and freedom fighters’ sacrifice for making India free from British rule.

2. Set duration

It is important to know the time needed/provided for the speech so that you can prepare it without the content being neither too less nor too long where your child may miss the time. Think about how much time is needed for your child to provide some useful information about the day to the audience.

3. Format of the Speech

Every speech must have a certain style or format so that kids can present their points easily. When you are helping your children to prepare for the Republic Day speech, divide the speech into three parts or paragraphs where the initial part should cover greetings to audience or guests and then the introduction to the speech which should cover topics about what is Republic Day of India, why we celebrate it and the sacrifice made by the freedom fighters. Second part or paragraph can be about present condition of India and then the conclusion can be with some interesting points like how you want to see future India and yes, remember to thank audience in the end of the speech.
