Mr. S.Maria John, with over 40 years of experience in timber business, started John Group during 1981 dealing with excellent quality Timber and Tiles. Solely due to his skills and hard-work, in a decade John Group was able to start a saw mill unit of their own in the name "John Saw Mill Timber Depot”



Continued hard-work and reliability with our clients led John Group to import timber from various countries like Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, West Africa and South America from 1990. With a good distribution network throughout South India, John Group is proud to have become one of the leading timber importers in South India.



Starting with the millennium, John Group has started a new concern in the name style "Antony Metals” and entered in to the field of steel, cement and other construction materials. Dealing with all leading brands of cement like Ramco, Ultratech, Birla, Dalmia and Chettinad and providing our customers the best quality materials at reasonable price, John Group is again proud to become the District Level Dealer for Vizaq TMT.



Due to the extensive knowledge John Group has gained in this construction industry, John Group has expanded itself into promoting apartments and buildings with the name "John Buildwell India (P) Ltd.” From 2007.
