Oragadam is a suburb located south-west of Chennai. It is a town bustling with industrial activities and is Chennai’s fastest developing suburb. It is also considered as Chennai’s fastest growing Automobile Hub. It is located at a distance of 65.9 km via NH32 and Tambaram - Mudichur - Walajabad Road. Nearby places of interest would include the famous Kanchipuram Varadaraja Perumal Koil and the Vallakottai Murugan temple (Sriperumbudur). Thirumullaivoyal, Ambattur, Annanur, Pattaravakkam, and Avadi are its nearby railway stations. However, Thirumullaivoyal is the nearest railway station located at a distance of 3.3 km via Chennai - Thiruttani - Renigunta Highway.

The Oragadam-Sriperumbudur belt is strategically placed on the Chennai-Bangalore highway, just about 40 km from the city, and offers all facilities that the industrial giants want their business to operate in the country.
Its close proximity to the proposed greenfield airport, NH-45, NH-4 (Chennai-Bangalore Highway) and good connectivity channels to Chennai, Kanchipuram and other districts, has led to an increase in the number of residential projects in the area.
Industrial development and the presence of prominent IT hubs of the city in Oragadam has led to housing demand pools in neighbouring areas.
