Overview

Wakad is a suburb located in the west of Pune. It comes under the municipal limits of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation which offered it a full-fledged drainage system and provided electricity, water and good roads. Pimple Nilakh, Pimple Saudagar, Aundh, Balewadi, Rahatani, Thergaon, Hinjewadi, Tathawade are some of the prominent localities located close to Wakad.
