Kukatpally is situated to the northwest suburb of Hyderabad in Telangana. It is the headquarters of Kukatpally Mandal in Malkajgiri revenue division of Medchal district. Earlier, it was a municipality but now it has been merged with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
