The town of Jejuri is well known for its one of the most famous and holy temple Khandoba Temple. It comes under the jurisdiction of Jejuri Municipal Council. It has become one of the popular tourist places in Pune. It is situated on Pune-Satara-Pandharpur Road. It can be reached by road or rail from Pune. Jejuri Railway Station is a railway station that can be reached from Pune Railway Station by Express Trains. Belsar, Sakurde, Pingori, Kolvihire, Pingori are its neighboring localities. The Jejuri MIDC is home to companies like Berger Paints, Bharat Forge, Indiana Gratings Private Limited, Champion Dai-Chi technologies and WMI cranes. State Highway 61 is passing through the centre of the locality. It is 49.3 km from Pune city while Mumbai is about 199 km via Bangalore-Mumbai Highway.
