Alandi Road is a major road situated in the north of Pune. The locality comes under Pimpri Metropolitan Regional Development Area (PMRDA) limits. It is a developing region that connects to Bidkar Vada towards the northern end and Yerawada down south. It is located very close to the industrial zones and IT Parks of Pune. The entire neighbourhood of Vishrantwadi lies along the Alandi Road. Charholi Road is located approximately 3.8 km from Alandi road. Other prominent areas situated close to Alandi Road are Alandi, Charholi Budruk, Moshi, Chikhali, Bhosari, Chimbali, Kasarwadi, Pimple Gurav, Pimple Saudagar etc. Bhosari-Alandi Road, Alankapuram Road, and Charholi Road which intersect the Alandi Road and connect with Pune-Nashik Highway (NH 60).
