Kukatpally is situated to the northwest suburb of Hyderabad in Telangana. It is the headquarters of Kukatpally Mandal in Malkajgiri revenue division of Medchal district. The national highway (NH 9), which connects Hyderabad with Pune, passes through Kukatpally. The suburb is well connected by bus, both private and public.
