The Group started as a single company with the activity of construction only in 1998 and today consists of 11 companies with operation in Construction & Real Estate. The group has interests in Engineering Construction and Real Estate is promoted by Mr. H. S. Bedi and Mrs. Avneet Bedi.



Total revenues was Rs.345 Crores & Rs.390 Crores in financial year 2009-10 and 2008-09 respectively. The group today employs more than 480 people including 260 Engineers and has a work force in excess of 4000 workers.



The group today operates two distinct divisions namely:



Construction: IDEB Projects (P) Ltd.



Construction of Infrastructure Projects such as Metro works, Road, Bridges, BOT Projects, High Rise Buildings, Mass Housing, elevated and intricate RCC Structures, Treatment Plants etc. Current work sites as on Jan 09 are at Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Noida, Madhya Pradesh, Hyderabad, Maharashtra and Patiala.



Major projects completed include 170 km water line in Trichy (Tamil Nadu), Bridges on National Highways No.4 & 5, 63 km Road Project in Madhya Pradesh, 15 km Elevated Viaduct for Delhi Metro, 600 M flyover in Hiriyur (Karnataka) and over 55,00,000 sft. of High Rise Buildings.



The company has all the latest construction equipments such as Tower Cranes, Batching Plants, Transit Mixers, Concrete Pumps, Road Equipments - Crushers, Wagon Drills, Compressors, Excavators Dozer, Motor Grader, Vibro and Tandem Rollers, Pay-loaders, Hot Mix / Wet Mix Plant etc. to execute massive infrastructure projects.



Real Estate: IDEB



Currently developing Residential complexes at Bangalaore, Pune, Delhi, Dehradoon, Noida and Jaipur. Current area under development is over 7 million sft. of residential, commercial & retail space in these four cities. The group has its own architectural division for preparation of detailed drawings and out sources preparation of concepts from international partners. It also has an interiors division for design and execution of interiors for its Tech/I.T. Clients.
The group monitors and controls the projects through its own Project Management Consultancy unit to ensure time delivery.



After handing over the properties to prospective tenant/buyers, the property management unit namely "IPMS” looks after and maintains all properties.
