Q: How much price has been increased near Garia Station road for flats? As I heard the price has increased after the arrival of KaviSubhash metro station?

Yes prices in Garia Station Road and N.S.C. Bose Road along with the areas around Narendrapur have gone up after the Metro route was extended. The prices are definitely going to rise further as various road projects are near completions which are going to decongest the heavy road traffic in the area. There is no denying the fact that the extended metro service from Tollygunge to Garia has eased out the traffic in the south suburban portion of Kolkata but the Construction of E.M. Bypass connector is going to have an equally positive impact. The prices have increased almost 10% with the arrival of the Kavi Subhash Metro station.

Increase in metro connectivity, widening of roads to improve traffic congestions and quick development of better civic infrastructure has been the story of a lot of regions in Kolkata. Garia Station Road and N.S.C. Bose Road along with the areas around Narendrapur always had a keen consumer interest in residential apartments. The arrival of the Kavi Subhash metro station has results in substantial gains for the older buyers. The price of residential apartments in Garia ranges between Rs. 200 to Rs 3500 per square feet up around 8 to 10% on year. Construction of E.M. Bypass connector from Padmapukur to Kamalgachi is further going to add to the area. I expect prices to go up even further in the near future.

Yes I agree with @Lekshmi, the area has an increasing in property price and now-a-days property buyers are also prefer to buy or rent a property in this area.

Garia Station Road is well- connected with all the city centers by metro and it is also well developed. Moreover the EM Bypass connector will also impact the real estate market in this area. It is expected that the price may go up in the future.
