In India, crows and pigeons are two types of birds that one can find in areas immediately surrounding buildings. Pigeon repellent is effective and efficient in controlling pest birds by making them feel uncomfortable and thus leave. Physical bird deterrents include such products as spike systems, bird netting, bird slope, bird jolt systems, bird wire, bird spiders, and more. These products are not meant to harm birds but are simply designed to keep birds away from an area.
- Visual repellents: Birds generally have very good eyesight and react to both movement and things that resemble their enemies.
