    The information technology and communications (IT&C) department are planning on taking up the SEZ in Kokapet.

    The state government is making an attempt to utilize the Supreme Court’s recent judgment to sell the valuable Kokapet land (623 acres) to raise an estimated Rs 15000 crore for the improvement of infrastructure in the city.

    The Telangana government will develop an exclusive industrial estate and information technology (IT) corridor for Muslims in the state.

    After successfully getting the Hyderabad Metro Rail project, the state government is now planning a Monorail project for the IT corridor, from Madhapur-Gachibowli belt up to the new IT parks proposed at Kokapet.

    The state government is considering a Monorail project for the IT corridor. A feasibility study has already been taken up. Madhapur-Gachibowli belt up to the new IT Parks proposed at Kokapet is being considered for the Monorail.

    The project of illuminating the ORR stretch with LED lights is to be taken up. The Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) proposal will cover the stretch from Kokapet to Shamshabad, which is a distance of 136 km.

    A Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) is under consideration and is expected to boost connectivity to the IT hub and some fast-developing areas in the western parts of the city. It will complement the existing MMTS that fans into various parts of the city from Lingampally, and the Metro Rail network.
