need to know more abt the project

I have cut my losses on this project and moved on. After all the promises 4-5 years back they have made a half baked layout beside a lake which has become the areas garbage and sewage dump - it smells in the evening and is full of mosquitoes. The layout is half tarred and half mettled and same is the case of the club house which has been coming up for the last 5 years and everytime someone asks, the answer is it will be ready in 6 months. Other layouts in the vicinity have strong functioning associations but this place is still with the builder who is influential and has just been acquitted in a murder case which happened at a party in one of the properties. Moreover, land has been earmarked for further extension of the layout meaning sharing a tiny winy club house with 200 + families and a not so exclusive neighbourhood. All these factors and also that this property is not approved by any authorities and is B khata has made me cut losses and make a safer investment.
