Are the EWS plots safe? What should I look for in these plots as I have been allotted one?

Q: I have been allotted a EWS Plots. I have been reading in newspaper about builders violating the norms. Are the plots safe? How many floors maximum should be allowed?

Construction of two-and-a-half floors should be allowed on Economically Weaker Section (EWS) plots as per building norms. But many developers violate the norm and to generate more revenue build extra five floors in addition. These houses come up in a month and the construction is not very safe. EWS plots should be built keeping the sanctioned layout plans in mind.
