How to choose CCTVs for apartments?

Q: I stay in an apartment in Kolkata. There are so many thefts happening in the city. I feel it is because of no CCTVs in apartment. How CCTVs are necessary for apartments?

CCTV is very much important for apartment complex. You can take expert's advice in choosing the right security camera. You will also get information on the budget to be spent without compromising the security of your apartment. Quality of image should also be kept in mind. The best way is to screen various screeshots from the CCTV. Camera resolution is important. Ensure the CCTV installed is able to cover maximum part of the room. There are different types of camers available in the market. Decide wisely which one would be better for your apartment complex.

Installing CCTV is not a big issue. The maintainance and monitoring of CCTV is more important. A security guard should be always kept near the CCTV control room to monitor daily on-goings.

Yes it is very much necessary. Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) will deter the burglars from entering apartments. Along with CCTV, burglar alarms should also be fixed.
