Q: Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway has exempted 41 villages from paying toll tax but rest of residents has to pay toll tax on Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway. How can it be justified? Why toll tax on poor residents like us?
Recently Residents of DLF City part 2, 3 and DLF Cybercity have demanded exemption in toll tax on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway. On Saturday, Sunder Singh, councillor from ward No. 35, urged NHAI chairman the same. Delhi Gurgaon Expressway is important corridor between NCR and the Millennium city.
For ur information NHAI in RTI reply has said that only vehicles listed in exempted category are exempted and no villages/villagers have been exempted on entire Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway. Could u please provide the copy of the 41 villages/villagers exempted on my e-mail : msgrg@yahoo.com
Delhi Gurgaon Expressway one of the most important corridor between NCR and the Millennium city. The 41 villages has exempted from toll tax on Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway because they made an agreement with DSC Limited and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Now they can use the link road by simply producing an ID proof.
