Let me have web site details of Capriccio Society . How much should be penalty of late payment of dues .

Q: I have been penalised to pay Rs1000/- more for paying 3 months charges of society of Rs 9000/- from Oct to Dec 11 . Last date was 30th Sept and I paid on 17th Sept11 . This amounts to charging penalty of more than 100% per annum which is against society by laws . All such defaulters must come together and fight this out .

Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Pune had come out with new rule for property tax defaulters in Oct 2010. Property tax payers in Pune can pay the tax for the first six months of the financial year till September 30 every year. If you have failed to pay, then you had to pay a penalty of only two per cent of the tax amount from October 1 onwards. So as per the amount you had to make payment of Rs 9000 for 3 months, the penalty would be Rs 180 for 3 months. That means the penalty would be Rs 540 approx. Please speak to your owners' association and make a group to speak it out.
