Are there any advantages for having a smaller area apartment?

Q: I have bought a flat in Mumbai. The sizes of the apartment is small keeping the future in mind and the space constraint. Is there any advantage to have a smaller area apartment?

The typical size of a small home is generally 500 sqft. Smaller homes allows for more creative design, more amenities, better flow. You can save great costs on the apartment, lower taxes and less maintenance. Smaller space means more efficient heating and cooling.Smaller homes also lead to a less cluttered and complicated life and reduce the ecological impact. Finally small homes are more affordable and easy maintenance.
