Careless work raise by Allahabad.

Q: Recently a school girl was injured while she was on her way to school as she fell down from the Lukerganj flyover,Allahabad. The residents of Allahabad lodged on-going complains but till now no one came forward to help them with their problem. Why the PWD is not doing anything about it?

The accident only proves the carelessness of the Allahabad Public Work Department. The flyover is very old, full of potholes, the plasters in the under portion is coming out and at night the situation become worsen. The flyover immediately need to be repaired or re-constructed. The people protest against the PWD and demanded 5 lakh rupees for the family of the injured school girl. After long fight finally the PWD officials have agreed to work on repairing the bridge.
