Q: I am planning to buy a flat at Hyderabad which is under-construction. The builders are telling that selling agreement need not have to be registered and no stamp duty is required as of now. Can I apply for a bank loan, will there be any problem if it is not registered?
It is necessary to register the agreement by paying stamp duty, as the bank wont allow you for availing the loans and this registration will help you to be in a safer sde. It is better if you do the registration of the agreement, if any issue arises then court will give the authenticity only to the registered agreements.
