Q: It came to our notice that the government has passed a bill to look after the property buyers from getting cheated by the real estate people. Is the plan helpful for buyers?

It is said that the Real Estate Regulation and Development Bill 2011 has been passed to lend some transparency to real estate sector. It is expected that the bill will force the developers to give evidence related to land title, completion of the project and other details. Union Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister said that it is a balance kind of bill niether we want the customer to get cheated nor we want the real estate to throttle.
