Sold my flat.

Q: I was having a flat which I sold to someone and it has been six months the flat has not been transferred to his name due to some reason. My question is that who should pay the maintenance.

I wonder how the buyer agreed to pay money without transferring the ownership. Regarding Maintenance of building, legally still you are the owner of the property and it maintenance of property is the duty of owner of the property ie., you. I suggest you to transfer ownership as early as possible and make the title of property clear legally.

If the house is being used by the present owner then he should pay the maintenance as he is using the house and its facilities.
