New form of increasing MCD Delhi revenue

Q: How MCD Delhi increase their revenue from Delhi property tax? Will property owners be able to pay the tax without any burden?

The cash-strapped Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is planning to impose education cess on property tax. Once the proposal is cleared in principal, the exact percentage which residents will have to be paid will be decided.

According to sources, MCD are finding ways to increase their revenue, so they have implemented this new form of tax collection. MCD has planned to insist the property owner to pay the tax annually.
