Q: How is the diamond city going to transform to becoming a solar city? When will be the plan prepared?

The municipal commissioner have drafted the plan to turn Surat into solar city by setting up solar generating equipment, use small energy consuming bulbs, setting windmills, green buildings etc. The plan will get prepared by 2012.
