Query about service Tax refund.

Q: Hi, I have a query about service Tax refund. Has anybody got the service Tax refund from Purva? Also people who didn't get from Purva, did you try getting it from Service Tax Dept by submitting the proof from Purva for paying ST to Govt.? When approached Purva initially 2 years back for this, they said the cut-off date is over and we need to get directly from ST dept. Since we stay abroad, we couldn't get the proof from Purva to submit to servcie tax office. Does anyone have the same experience?

Yes you are right, but I think better you can consult with your layer related to service Tax. I am sure your consult person will help you out about this issue.

As per my opinion you can go to the service tax office and give a letter for your service tax refund from Purva. But for that you need to provide original copy of property.
