People need to be warned about the work at progress. Sign boards could be put or the road could be blocked temporarily. And pits need to be covered immediately after the work. These and many other ways have to be followed to avoid accidents.

Construction works will be going on along roads and people unknowingly come on their vehicles as usual. So there is negligence of traffic safety and increasing the number of accidents.
