Q: Can anyone clarify it please what is the issue with Nonadanga land?

First it was planned to build an IT park in that place but due to recession it was postponed. But now again it's put on hold for some reason.

Yes Vinay, it's planned that the land will be auctioned off on lease basis and the developer can use the land for any commercial purpose in the lease period.

Hi all, they first planned to auction the land but now I heard that there is some change in plan.

KMDA has planned to use the land for the development of the area.

I believe that the Nonadanga land was encroached upon by slum dwellers. I think so right now the clearance work is being carried on...
