As per my knowledge,
In 2010, the authority sealed more than 200 towers, saying installation of towers was a commercial activity. But half of the mobile towers are situated in residential area which are allowed by the owners to be installed.

As far as I know the court banned installation of mobile towers in residential areas and sought assessment of the impact of existing ones. Then why 50% of the towers in Noida are situated in residential area.
