Hi, I think this corridor has good road network and the onset of the metro would enhance the potential of western Pune. The infrastructure development project involving Pune city integrated road project, flyovers, metro rail, 90-feet ring road Project and widening of the old Pune-Mumbai highway Project are summoned buyers in this area.

I read this thread and this is really very interesting and useful information while selecting project destination for investment but I think Proximity to Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi and the Mumbai-Bangalore bypass has boosted real estate activity in the western area, seen as one of the future key growth areas in Pune.Aundh has witnessed a lot of development, with a large number of shopping centers and supermarkets.

Hi Priya, In my point of view some of the attractive locations for affordable homes in western Pune are Moshi in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Narhe, Khed Shivapur area on Pune-Bengaluru highway and Dhairi, which are accessible both from the expressway and the highway.

Hi Pravakar, I think you are right. Pune is predominantly divided into two parts; one across the river which is the eastern corridor known for areas like Camp, Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar, Hadapsar and the other around Deccan Gymkhana, Kothrud and Baner, areas comprising the western corridor.Pune west has been consistently growing in terms of infrastructural development, facilities and residential complexes.
Krishnendu

Thanks Krishnendu for your valuable insight. I have read somewhere that the western corridor includes major locations like Aundh, Balewadi, Baner, Bardhan, Hinjewadi, Kothrud, Pashan, Pimple-Saudagar and Wakad, which has grown fast owing to its easy accessibility to PuneMumbai expressway and the Hinjewadi IT Park. City's western also has easy approach to cities like Satara and Kolhapur via the Pune-Bengaluru highway thereby attracting buyers from places in Karnataka like Belgaum, Hubli and Bengaluru.
