Q: I heard that a new software is coming to calculate property tax? Based on what the property tax will be calculated?

Yes Sanket, You are right the website will bring relief to the owners of properties by sparing them the ordeal of running around the municipal offices for assessment of property tax.

It is a good news for the property owners of Hyderabad, now they can calculate their property tax at the click of a mouse.

The owners will have to upload information and later the tax wing officials will visit the house or apartment and measure the built-up area on the ground and make necessary corrections.
