Agree with Akshay. The Delhi 2021 master plan doubles the size of Delhi from 700 km to 1400 km. The plan envisages 30% open areas including 15% recreational areas (imagine) and wide roads, etc. These are the 5 sub cities. This might well be the real estate opportunity of recent times, so anyone who invests in these new areas in Delhi today would see megafold increase in his/her investment starting 5 years hence.
So how does one invest in these new areas in Delhi today? And which is the best area to invest in? How can a common person invest when financiers are picking up land by acres? The way out is to join hands with existing group of people, and be part of a society. I have myself invested in a similar manner.
Experts observed that since Delhi is situated in seismic zone I, only through risk and assessment studies can it have a development plan consisting of high and low-rise buildings...
It has been planned that vertical development is the only way to go.. they are planning to build high rise apartments in the city to accommodate increasing population..
You are right Ranjith, the city is becoming overcrowded.. people from other places are also coming and settling down..Don't know what will be the exact scene of the city after a decade or so..
