Yes Arup.. legal verification is must.. you can even try to meet other buyers and check whether they have verified everything.. Sometimes builder will have permission for 5 floors, but the building will have 8 floors or more.. In such cases if you buy properties in higher floors and you will be struck.. so have a clear check beforehand..
Hi Arup, it is better to hire a lawyer whle buying a property.. Before invesitng, first you have to get copies of land related documents, approval documents, CC, etc. and get all these verified through a lawyer.. Then if everything is clear, you can proceed..
