Need advice

Q: I booked a apartment in December 2010 and the agreement period was 2 years to handover the property by the builder. And now its January 2013, the property is not even 50 % complete. What should i do in this case

Hello Mr Mitra..this is restricted in few of the cases. You need to verify the background and reputation of the builder before booking and also information like floor area, BUP & SBUP, amenities to be provided, all of which you might have included in the agreement. There must also be a clause in your agreement to pay in case of failure to deliver the possession within stipulated period. Please note if there in no such clause, don't pay any amount.
