The proposal of the Metro route has been asked to be submitted at the earliest for the approval of the state cabinet. After the state govt approves it, it will be forwarded to the central government.
The civic body has earlier also been directed to speed up the work adding that PMC has been asked to appoint the officer of special duty for the project with immediate effect.Proposal has been submitted of route-one from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Swargate for government’s approval.
