Hi Ramakrishnan..in case you are making only internal changes like changing the flooring or whitewashing etc you should inform the apartment association and security of your apartment societies. this is ti decrease the incidents of theft by the labours in the compound of the apartment societies.

Hello Ramakrishna...According to my knowledge...you can can do internal changes but for external changes, you need to to take permission from both the original developer and the authorities. Additionally please make sure that there is no damage to the structural walls which can harm building. I would suggest you to consult your developer first to identify the structural walls.
