I checked with Karia Developers about meadows 2 days back. The possession is getting delayed by 6 months because of environment clearance issue. Initially, they were saying it is not needed as area is less and blah blah..now they are saying this and expecting the EC by oct. I dont understand how this works and how SBI approved the project and giving loans.

Nopes, I booked flat there in Nov, 2011.. I checked with Nimisha and she told possession is getting delayed by 6 months..means instead of oct now probably march.. since you have recently bought, you can check with them and ask about EC as well..

HI All, I have booked a flat in konark meadows..
just read your comment..and want to the effect if KM doesn't get EC, what would happened in this situation? they are saying to give the possession in Aug.2013...
Also update me if anything important comes out abt this project.

I am not sure what will happen if KM doesnot EC certificate.. probably, they will not be able to give completion certificate.. ask builder about the same, and told them that you find this info on Maharashtra.ac website.

yeah..Project is approved by SBI/HDFC and other leading banks. It is completely sold out and work is going on in full swing, possession is also expected in Sep 2013. So overall no issues, but this environment clearance thing came from no where. If you see project is small and should not need one, but as i say before, EC website is saying something else.

I heard there is no problem with approvals as SBI is giving loan for this project.. However, I feel go for verification of all sanctions and papers. Don't just go by word of mouth or that SBI/HDFC etc are giving loans.

Yeah.. even i checked with the builder and they are saying that there project does not come under the limit of EC. But again, the ec.maharashtra website on 58th report is saying different story. It is showing there as recommended for rejection. So, some confusion is there.

Hi Piyush, one of my friends who was interested with this project checked with the builder about the environment clearance and got to know that there project does not need one. The reason of this is that the total area of the project is less than what is needed for this. So this is not mandatory. However, anyone has any other update on this??

Project is nice and flats are quite spacious as per requirement.However, the status of Environmental Clearance is still not cleared. I read somewhere extract of EC Meeting dated 16Jan 13 Environmental clearance for “Konark Meadows” at Gat No. – 1185/A, Plot No. – 3, Near Wagheshwar Temple, Behind Moze College, Wagholi, Pune by M/s. Karia Realty
