How does a land owner goes about developing jointly with a developer/builder.

Q: We have piece of land Approx 60 Cents)in Mangalore city area for development. The developer may need to convert the land, widen the approach road and build Flats. We intend to invite proposals for joint development of the land.

I would be interested to see the proposals by a reputed developer builder and select the best.
One option for me is to enter into a development agreement with a developer by which the entire cost of development will be borne by the developer. I expect certain amount of advance for starting the process and I will be provided certain percentage of the built-up area for myself and the rest will belong to the developer.

Hi Gururaj, that's a good idea.. so what kind of apartment you planning to build on that place? You will go as per developer or you have a plan ready which has to be followed by the developer? And what awould you expect from the developer?
