Now builders have to be careful...This Kerala Apartments Regulation Acts ays that builders must compulsory deposit a bank guarantee of 5 percent of the entire cost of the project with the regulatory authority. Other provisions include on time delivery of project, common amenities promised by the builder, a warranty period of two years for completed projects, approval from the authority for the project plan etc.

Hi Rubiya..good thought..although this act will be implemented in entire state..but real estate market of Kochi will be get affected highly..it is because it houses many apartment and villa projects as compared to other cities.

Yes David..i hope this act passes soon..Kerala Apartments Regulation Act will check the activities of the builders. It will keep an eye on foul play by builders, the delays in executing the apartment project in any city, etc.

Hi Bikram..this is the right time to invest in Kochi..i heard that Kerala government will soon pass the Kerala Apartments Regulation Act. It will help a lot to buyers. You should buy an apartment as soon as possible.
