1) Can wadhwani construction deny me from giving my docs(possesion letter and parking alottment letter). 2)Can't i resale my property without possesion letter? 3)Will soft copies work(once builder mailed me my docs) 4)What is the solution?

Q: I took the possesion of my flat in Pune in Oct 2009.For some reasons i did not collect my possesion letter and parking alottment letter from builder.Now i want to resale my flat.N when i asked builder(Wadhwani Constructions)to give me my possesion letter and parking alottment letter he started blackmailing me by saying if you want your documents then 1st pay VAT.As whole society has decided to not to pay VAT so i also dont want to pay VAT.

I suggest you to take legal help or file a case in the consumer court against the builder.. You will get your documents along with the compensation for the harassment caused..

Hi Mr Gupta, I feel the builder does not want you to sell the flat once again and get good returns.. That may be a reason for blackmailing. Getting good returns on the flat than the builder may be a reason..
