Shifting of household stuffs by lift chargeable?

Q: Is it as per rules and regulations of ''Societies registration act'' for a society to charge hefty amount for shifting of household stuffs by lift? If yes is there a limit? If not then is it legal for society to charge for the same?
My society is asking for a pretty unreasonable amount which I inquired with many people around living in big societies too and realized it is not so anywhere. Please help.

Hi Pearl, there is no such rule as being charged for shifting of household stuffs by lift with hefty amount. You can speak with the association's office and know about this.. Also, if you are getting harassed too much, then you can speak to your neighbours and can ask for favour to make a group and speak with the association..
