Sir,/madam.I have booked a flat in Oct 2010.

Q: Possession date was Jun 2012. Later the date changed to Mar 2013. Accordingly the payment was made. Now at he time of possession the builder is asking 2 lacs as interest. Please advise. builder review

Hello Sir..have paid the entire amount of the flat (as per agreement)..?? If it is not paid..then this amount could be the last installment which is paid at the time of possession. In case you have paid the entire amount, you can send a legal written letter to builder asking the reason behind 2 lakhs. If he does not reply you can then file a case against him.

Hi Mr Shah..which project are you talking about..?? Builders generally change the possession date according to the construction status.

This is barnala builder Zirakpur, Once the possession date changed the installments also must be changed accordingly. Which they are not agreeing and asking for interest for that period.

hello..does your sale agreement talks about any particular date of possession..?? if yes then you will have to pay the interest amount.
