There is a strong demand for 1 and 2 BHK flats in this belt. The location is near the highway as well as the railway station so accessibility is in place. There is an MGM Hospital and lots of shopping and eating out options. The depot will come up shortly and CIDCO too is going to develop this place further. That apart, the availability of low-budget flats has brought a huge chunk of population to make Kamothe their home. In the last year itself, the properties here have witnessed an appreciation of Rs 1000-1500 psf. Currently, the rates here are in the range of Rs 6000 psf and the momentum in this micro-market is extremely encouraging.
Kamothe has two stations under its node and it is also bordering the upcoming airport, which brings in additional connectivity between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Also, the rates here are very affordable and people like to live in a place where transport is accessible. The primary means of local transport is provided by the auto rickshaws. The NMMT buses and ST buses serve as a much cheaper means of transportation over a long distance to various nodes through Navi Mumbai. Buses starting from Panvel halt at Kamothe and allow passengers access to locations like Mumbai, Thane and Vashi.
Hi... Got this thread through search engine as I was gaining knowledge about Kamothe.. What about the connectivity and the situatin of the public transportation?? Please advise..
I agree with Jerome.. Also, there are many shopping centres and entertainment facilities in the proximity making it a good locality in terms of investment.. Many education and healthcare facilities are also available in the neighbourhood. Kamothe doubtlessly holds long-term growth potential because of its strategic location.
Hi Mr Suresh, I think you can invest in Kamothe as it is one of the eminent localities in the city and is fast developing as it is located in the vicinity of Mumbai-Pune Expressway (NH4).. The locality has been in a developing phase for over past 3 years and can be expected more.. It is conveniently located between Kharghar and Panvel, and is accessible both by road and by the harbour line. The proposed Navi Mumbai airport is close enough which will boost up the real estate investment.. Residential real estate at Kamothe is rising in the middle-to-lower middle income segment and most demand is for residential projects having 1, 2 and 3 BHK flats in kamothe.
