I had purchased a flat in 15 apartment complex a 2bhk of 1170 sft in one of the land owners share on a bank loan and get it registered in may2012 for 34 lakhs.

Q: now the builder asking for payment of servicetax. shall i pay if so @what rate?

Hi Satya...As per my knowledge service tax of 3.09% is paid on under construction residential complexes. It is calculated on the total document value of the flat.
