After the state forest department demarcated private land in the area as forest zone in 2005, many building constructions were stalled on which many citizens had invested money.. The high court subsequently ordered a stay on all constructions that were taken up on the acquired forest land, which remains effective till date.
I agree.. Many have lost both their home and invested hard earned money. Repeated pleas have been sent to CM and Minister of Environment & Forest, to approve clearance of the project has fallen but no update till date. There seems to be loopholes in the process between the state, BMC and MOEF.
Hi Sujata, the case was very grave and it has hit many buyers who had bought plots in such areas. Even one of my friends had suffered.. Have you booked any plot in this area??
