Buying property near Meridian school, Madhapur - is there issue with land, is it legal to purchase in that area?

Q: We are looking to purchase a property in Madhaour, near Meridian school [SBI officers colony i believe]. Is the land in this area legal? there were some demolotions and GHMC issues in the Ayyappa society area. Am a bit concerned about this property. Any information/advice much appreciated.
