The concrete roads can survive for at least 20 to 25 years, which is five times longer than asphalt roads. During waterlogging, concrete roads gain strength as it improves its compactness.

Hi, these roads are also included. PWD is also relaying the Under Hill Road in Civil Lines with concrete as it often faces waterlogging issue.

Whatever it is.. at least the roads will get better now. But why cement roads? why not tar roads?

Najafgarh-Nangloi and Uttam Nagar-Najafgarh Roads are horrible. First they have to be laid properly. It seems that the government has planned to relay the roads only because of the Assembly election scheduled for later this year.

Many places in Delhi have been witnessing this problem from years. PWD will be laying around 500 concrete roads in the city it seems. Hope most of the problem will be reduced after this.
