See the true story is that the project was to start in May 2003 and work was to be completed by May 2005. But the UP government refused to part with its land. Now only after the approvals the construction will resume again.
The total length of the bypass will be 14 km and it is expected to cost around Rs 750 crore. The first at-grade length will be 2 km, the stilt section will be 6 km and there will be another 6-km at-grade stretch.
So you mean to say that there will be thirty boundary pillars have will come up near the DND to mark the bypass site. ?? this construction will again create some traffic problems!
No few approvals are left over and soon they will get approvals done and as soon as approvals are done by the government the construction of the bypass will start.
Hi Mr Sudhir, to reduce travel time between Delhi and Faridabad, the office of the Lieutenant-Governor has cleared the alignment for the Kalindi Kunj bypass. Once built, this 14-km bypass will help decongest Ashram Chowk and the NH-2 stretch.
Yes Hitesh, there were land acquisition issues and due to that project was stalled in 2002. The Public Works Department said the bypass will begin from the Ring Road near the DND flyover loop and end at a point near the Badarpur border.
