Hi Guys,
As per my knowledge, the much-awaited Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway is finally coming on track and will provide fast connectivity to daily commuters of the area once complete; apart from this, it is also emerging as an excellent stretch for real estate development.

Hi Richa,
According to me, the development authority is carrying on a demolition drive to remove the encroachments along the FNG corridor and speed up work. Today, FNG has become a very important infrastructural project, not just for real estate development but also as a facilitator of smooth traffic for the multiplying vehicular movement across the NCR. It is due to such factors that we are clearing hurdles to make way for early delivery of the project. Also, officials have been on their toes and are trying to resolve all legal issues between farmers and the Noida authority, so that work does not come to a standstill.

@ Richa,

With the completion of the extension line of the Metro towards Greater Noida and FNG Expressway, the connectivity of New Noida with Delhi and other regions of the NCR will certainly improve. The Metro route will come as an extension of the existing Sector 32-based Noida City Centre Metro line, which will be extended up to Greater Noida West via Sectors 72 and 121. The completion of FNG expressway will further improve the connectivity between Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurgaon.

Hi Guys,
As per my knowledge, this project was announced 20 years back to connect Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad but was stalled by the Haryana Government in the year 1998. As per initial plan, the corridor was to be 56 km long and was to connect NH-24 near Ghaziabad and NH-2 but it was scuttled to 17 km. Around 16 km of the corridor falls under the jurisdiction of Noida Authority.

Hi All,

I heard from local news, the FNG, which begins from Faridabad in Haryana, will connect Ghaziabad via Noida directly and around 95 per cent of this 17 km long road falls in Noida city alone, but Noida Authority has still not acquired land at several places.

Hi Guys,
As per my knowledge, the Noida Authority has approved a proposal to build another expressway between Noida and Faridabad. The 75-metre-wide expressway will start from Sector 150, on the outskirts of Noida. A letter regarding the proposal has been sent to the Haryana Urban Development Authority for approval.

@ Richa,

In my point of view, Part of Noida's Master Plan 2031, the 14-km stretch will allow commuters to avoid the congested Badarpur bypass. The expressway will have entry/exit points between sectors 150 and 152 in Noida, near Greater Noida's Pari Chowk. Going through Noida and Greater Noida, the expressway will reach the Yamuna bank and then go on to Dalelpur in UP. Also passing through Haryana's Mehatpur, Lalpur, Bhupauni and Khedi villages, the expressway will join NH-2 near Palwal.

Hi ,

As per different sources, the road, being built along the Yamuna pushta (canal), will ease congestion on the expressway, besides providing connectivity to over two dozen sectors along it in Noida towards Delhi, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

Yeah, this has been already delayed and just starting of the year in January there was some demolition drives happening which was met with stiff Resistance from the dwellers. They argue that the land was given to them under patta system... the officials said that they are looking into this..
Mukhesh

oh.what is patta and what will be the effect if they do not have this??

Well patta actually refers to the title deed that was used in 1980,s .. the officials will check if these title deeds are true or not. those having will get some compensation from the authority otherwise nothing...

See this is already taking time and prolonged plan of authority and this is a key infrastructure project, i feel they will try to complete it at the earlies. The notices to encroacher since the High Court has not issued a stay order on our anti-encroachment drive. It will soon initiate penal action against them if they do not budge.

guys do you know that as per initial plan, the corridor was to be 56 km long and was to connect NH-24 near Ghaziabad and NH-2 but it was scuttled to 17 km. Around 16 km of the corridor falls under the jurisdiction of Noida Authority. Once the project is completed, commuters can reach both cities in half an hour without entering the Capital and the busy parts of Noida.

I think the issues is of Noida Authority !FNG, which begins from Faridabad in Haryana, will connect Ghaziabad via Noida directly and around 95 per cent of this 17 km long road falls in Noida city alone, but Noida Authority has still not acquired land at several places!!!

Hi according to the recent news, all the efforts by authorities to complete the key project have proved futile as squatters have refused to vacate the land along its route. Even Noida Authority was forced to announce construction of an elevated stretch near Chhijarsi region after failing to reclaim land from encroachers.

This is a very old project which have undergone many many controversies. The project started 20 years ago and yet approvals are pending. Only half work is done... I doubt there will be any further update about the project!
