One last quetion Priya,
What is the major problem West Bengal facing these days for the mega infrastructure projects? Which are the projects disscussed by PMG Chairman last month?
Poonam

Doesn't matter, you just carry on....
The PMG Chairman on Friday discussed the pipeline project linking Paradip, Haldia and Durgapur as also railway, highway and power transmission projects. He said in West Bengal problems for the mega infrastructure projects turned mainly from the issues related to land acquisition.

Thanks Priya,
Would you like to tell me, which are the projects in biggest trapped and what are the reason behind it? Which one of them is going to start this month after decades of delay?
Poonam

Well Poonam,
projects related to coal mining and evacuation created the biggest parts of the delayed projects followed by ones that were trapped because of non-availability of forest or environmental clearances. Some 70,000 MW worth coal related projects have been cleared. Todi-Shibpur-Hazaribagh rail project work for coal evacuation would start this month after decades of delay.
